Based on the patented infinium® contact free linear sensor, a range of long life linear faders has been developed. Aimed specifically at  DJ cross fader, pro-audio and lighting console applications there are currently three products available. These faders are primarily direct digital sensors with SPI and UART outputs, although for legacy applications an analogue output is also provided. For DSP and processor based signal chains the digital outputs can reduce overall system cost for the developer. And for the user, a control that doesn't fade away...
